I do not think that my sister has good oral and dental health care. Her teeth look really yellow to me and when I ask if she seen a dentist she says she can not afford to see one.  I know she has her son that she taking care of but I do not think she should let herself go in the process.
Do you have any good oral and dental health care tips that she can applie without having to go to the dentist? Something I could pass along to her were her teeth can start looking better.

Just the basic brushing your teeth three times a day and flossing at least once a day. Using mouthwash with tarter control and maybe that also fights gingivitis would be good idea if she not taking care of her teeth well.
You can suggest she get a very affordable low cost dental insurance plan like an HMO that normally offer free preventive dental care. So at least she can go in for her twice a year cleanings.

In my humble opinion there are somethings you should not get into. Your sister is an adult she should be able to make her own decisions in life.
How do you think you are going to tell her to brush her teeth or floss more. Do you think you are going to hand her a bad of dental care products and it will change her life around? I guess do what you want if you do not care of the possible consequences that may come from your actions.
Otherwise let her be. They are her teeth if she does not go to the dentist that is on her not you.
